Given the exciting sound, light, and action effects in this vehicle, it would be easy to overlook the obvious - that it's a very cool-looking car! The one we got our hands on was a MINI Cooper S (it also comes in a VW Beetle), with such fine visual details that it gave the impression of being a real auto shrunk down to size. It rolls smoothly when pushed or guided by hand, thus offering the play options afforded by traditional toy vehicles. But four inconspicuous buttons on its roof offer quite different forms of entertainment. The three smaller ones activate highly authentic sound effects with lighting effects mixed in - horn, car alarm, and engine racing with tires screeching. The fourth button triggers the main act. Rock music erupts and colored lights flash as all four wheels pump up and down, causing the vehicle to dance in place with a herky jerky motion. Not exactly behavior one expects from a car, toy or otherwise, a fact that makes it all the more amusing.
