With this kit, kids create a mystical little island all their own. The fun starts with assembling the colorful paper dinosaurs, trees, and volcano, then positioning them in the plastic tray above empty cavities. The next step is to pour the special crystal-growing liquid into each of those cavities, where a chemical action begins to cause colorful crystals to take shape, forming and growing all along the edges of the paper figures. This begins very quickly and is visible to the naked eye within minutes. As the process continues, the results become larger and more vivid, the prehistoric flora and fauna seeming to come alive as they grow and change before your very eyes. The kit includes a paper stegosaurus and T-rex, 2 paper trees, paper volcano, magic crystal liquid 2 fl oz. (60ml), plastic tray, and a paper skirt of high grass that provides the final touch by encircling the entire island.
