This is one smart train! For starters, it's a great ride-on toy that helps kids acquire balance and mobility. But it also contains a remarkable number of learning activities, including manipulative features such as a storybook, clock, gears, walkie talkie, and sliding colored pieces. Built-in technology allows the train to be highly interactive. It speaks, sings, plays music, even asks children to engage in specific activities. A row of buttons name their own color when pushed and a telephone-like keypad speaks each number aloud as it's pressed. There are blocks that name the letter and object shown on their side when when plugged into a slot in the train. Or they can be dropped down a chute, where they are identified (or counted) before landing in the caboose beneath the child's seat. That caboose doubles as a pull toy and a storage place for the blocks and other small toys. There are so many different ways to play and learn with the Sit-to-Stand Alphabet Train.
