Each of the pieces and components that make up this game are so colorfully and cleverly designed, children tend to burst into smiles at the mere sight of them. The mice alone (intensely colored two-and-a-half-inch tall critters with long, crooked tails) inspire glee. Kids can't keep their hands off them, which is a good thing because players must use those mouse tails to try to hook cheesy letters that lie randomly spread in a bright green bowl. The goal is to be the first player to spell the entire word that appears on a card in their possession. Each letter must be hooked and carried, without dropping, and placed on top of the card. Each turn is initiated by the roll of a multi-colored custom die. Depending on the roll, either one player goes for a letter, all players go for a letter, or one player may even have to put a letter back. Multiple word levels allow the challenge to be adjusted to match kids' abilities, providing an exceptional mix of fun and learning!
