SmartBook is a highly effective learning tool. These highly attractive, illustrated, full-color books cover colors, numbers, letters, vocabulary, rhymes, and more. Pointing the pen at a word, image, or sentence causes it to be spoken aloud. Just as importantly, the pen is also a recording device that lets kids record their often playful thoughts and reactions to the contents and questions on the pages. Pointing the pen at the Play Me symbol on any page plays back the child's recording specific to that page, turning the exploration of the books into a free-flowing, spontaneous game. That fun, creative quality keeps kids poring over the books repeatedly, experimenting with their own questions and comments.
