SmartGames Asteroid Escape is an extraordinarily fun single player puzzle game in which the aim is to successfully navigate your spaceship through an asteroid field and off the board. Setup for each game requires positioning 8 unique puzzle pieces on the game board (as per the challenge selected), leaving one square open. The goal is then to solve the puzzle by sliding pieces, one by one, until your spaceship arrives at the outbound square with no object blocking its exit. Achieving this might involve a bit of trial and error, but mostly it requires the use of logic, reasoning, and skill. The higher challenge levels, in particular, can necessitate following surprisingly circuitous paths. Careful thinking will get you far, while guesswork may repeatedly put you in frustratingly tight spots. There are 60 different puzzles from which to choose, with difficulty levels ranging from easy to mind-blowing.
