It takes only a moment of tinkering with this ingenious single player puzzle game to realize how addictively fun it is. Each of the 60 challenges requires the player to use stairway puzzle pieces to create a path from the door of the high tower to the exit on the game board. The path must be traversable: if a tiny person were placed on the high tower, he or she should be able to make way on foot to the game board exit without encountering impassable obstacles. For this to be the case, each stairway piece (3-dimensional, asymmetric and multi-level in design) must be properly positioned and oriented in relation to the others. Challenges are presented in order of increasing difficulty, the hardest being those that employ the greatest number of puzzle pieces. Kids and adults find the mix of trial and error, logic, spatial reasoning and problem-solving to be enormously satisfying, as they do the growing sense of mastery that accompanies completion of each successive challenge!
