Snapo Dream & Play Blocks consists of colorful building blocks that connect to one another with near-magical speed, ease, and versatility. This ease of use is particularly helpful in allowing very young children to explore their creativity, and promotes the development of spatial and fine motor skills. Placing the sides of any two blocks against one another and exerting a little pressure causes them to snap together with a satisfying 'click.' The result is surprisingly sturdy and yet can be taken apart with a simple pull. On top of each block is a cylinder that fits perfectly into the bottom of any other block, allowing you to quickly stack and even rotate them into various positions as you build. The sides' unique design also allows them to connect through a sliding motion from above or below, a fact that comes in handy when filling a single space in an existing structure. This particular Snapo set's pieces are intentionally sized large, so that even very young hands can grab and manipulate them - turning, stacking, connecting, and building.
