Sphere XYZ is brain teaser puzzle with a new twist! This sphere contains different colored rotating hemispheres as well as colored squares that slide along two different tracks surrounding the sphere. The object is to have each hemisphere contain only squares of a single color, the exception being the two white squares, each of which must wind up at the north and south poles in order for the puzzle to be considered solved. Our testers, ranging in age from 8 to 50, became quite absorbed in manipulating the sphere, to such an extent that each wanted to take it home when the evening was over. Wonderfully tactile brain stimulation to get those synapses firing!
