The Swurfer is an exciting reinvention of the classic tree swing. The curved shape of its hard-rock maple base (made in the USA) provides power, stability, and a wide range of motion. Riders can sit or stand. The pair of ropes that attach to each end of the base have adjustable wooden handles for riders to grip while swinging, letting leg and arm strength combine to produce a surprisingly diverse range of linear and elliptical paths. The Swurfer responds energetically to what the rider puts into it. Its swinging motion can be as soothing and gentle as a soft summer breeze or as physical and dynamic as a gymnastic workout, making it well suited to a wide range of ages and abilities. The set includes two 40-foot lengths of UV and mildew resistant rope, one set of handles, and one hard-rock maple Swurfer base.
