This game very cleverly, and hilariously, adapts the classic 'Telephone Game' to the visual realm. Every player receives a multi-page sketch book and a card with several words on it. Each player, working with a different word, draws a sketch of it. Books are passed down the line, with one player writing a guess based on the previous player's drawing, and the next player drawing a sketch of the previous player's guess. The result is that the final sketch is often hilariously different from the first - 'Birdhouse' might become 'Lasagna,' and 'Lasagna' might become 'Volleyball.' The game is played in rounds, and a couple of different scoring methods are given. But scoring's not the point here - laughing is - and Telestrations delivers the laughter in spades. Everything - the sketch books, cards, markers, timer, cleaners, die, and especially the game play - are perfectly and playfully designed to be the life of the party.
