This highly entertaining game has humor, whimsy, strategy, and is tremendous fun. Players take turns rolling 5 dice with the goal of building houses with which to ward off the lurking wolf. Dice show either doors, windows, roofs, or a Wolf face. Players are allowed up to 3 rolls on each turn, putting aside those dice they like and re-rolling those they don't. Accumulating multiple dice showing the same house part can enable you to purchase straw, wood, or brick tiles at the end of your turn. In no time, players have numerous houses in various states of progress on the table. If a Wolf face rolls up on your turn, it can't be rerolled, and rerolling the other dice now carries the risk of a second Wolf ending your turn. The upside when this happens is that you get a parting shot at decimating an opponent's house using the Breath spinner. Only completed houses are worth points at the end of the game, so blowing away even a single tile from an opponent can change the game's outcome. Every inch of this game, from the hilarious packaging to its carefully constructed, playfully designed components, promises a good time. And it more than delivers. For 2 to 5 players.
