Waste Sorting's carefully-crafted play makes for fast-moving fun for the entire family! The set comes with 50 wooden tiles, each bearing a single illustration of a foodstuff or other household item to dispose of properly. Aiding in this regard is a rectangular wooden box (which also functions as the set's storage and carrying case) with four slots in its lid into which players place the tiles as a means of sorting. A panel displaying 4 different types of waste bins stands upright atop the box, indicating which slot goes with which bin. Each of the different ways to play in the instructions revolves around classifying various types of waste to the four garbage categories. Two of the play options involve rolling a wooden color dice and having the player who rolled pick a tile that he or she feels should be disposed of in the matching-colored bin. A solitaire version of the game consists of allocating all 50 of the tiles into the bin slots. Checking to see if the classifying has been done correctly is fast and easy since the flipside of every tile displays the image of a face whose color indicates the bin to which it belongs.
