Here's a fun, quick-moving word game that will get your brain and word skills moving in high gear. Two of its strengths are its simplicity (less than 30 seconds to learn) and the fact that everyone plays at once from start to finish. There's no waiting your turn. Just flip a card, roll the dice, and let everyone's brains jump into action. The card reveals a category and number of Letter Dice (from 1 to 4) to be rolled. The first player to call out a word that fits the category and contains all the letters shown on the dice wins the round and keeps the card. For example, let's say the category and number on the card were Dog Breed and 2, and the two dice showed the letters P and D. A player might call out 'Poodle' and in so doing (if first), win the round and the card. Since all the letters rolled must appear in your word, the higher numbers can be more challenging. Cards that require 4 Letter Dice to be rolled allow players to choose any word containing those letters, with no category specified. The player with the most cards at the end wins the game. For 2 to 4 players.
