The Yum-yum Food Truck fosters language learning, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and motor skills development through hands-on play. An interactive audio feature encourages youngsters to feed various food blocks to Banban through a slot situated atop the truck and names the type of food aloud each time another block is deposited, accompanied by playful bursts of music and fun sound effects. Each block is shaped and colored so as to be recognizable as the healthy food it represents, such as fruits, vegetables and fish. Once all the blocks are inside, the child lifts the lid to recover the pieces and start anew. The power switch doubles as a selector with which to choose one of two languages spoken by the device, enabling kids to hear and learn the names for the various foods in Chinese and/or English. This focused play and learning activity is intended for little ones who are approximately 13 months old.
