This outstanding set offers an abundant diversity of puzzles to be solved, hands-on activities through which kids develop and hone their mathematical abilities, logical thinking skills, and much more! Fundamental to play is a set of bottom plates that form several differently-sized grids as well as the variously-colored acrylic blocks that function like puzzle pieces when placed in the grids' cells. Hundreds of question cards (many of which have multiple questions per card) display setups and clues for the puzzles to be solved, with the solutions shown on their flipsides. The question cards are organized by puzzle type (Sudoku, Block Logic, Path Planning) and challenge level, an approach that enables children a variety of ages to enjoy themselves and reap the educational benefits without discouragement. Youngsters explore these highly-engaging endeavors eagerly, excited and emboldened with each success. In all, there are seven different ways to play, with basic math games and head-to-head competition in the mix with the aforementioned puzzle types. Rainbow Logic comes with 5 bottom plates, 45 acrylic blocks, several EVA blocks and 7 individually-packaged sets of question cards.
