Splash is a fast-moving, intensely entertaining game in which a keen eye and quick reflexes will get you far. Players aim to get four of a kind while rapidly passing and receiving cards to and from their neighbors, with the ultimate goal being to be the first player to spell SPLASH. Once any player achieves four of a kind, he or she grabs one of the dolphins from the table, signaling the others to do the same. Since there are one fewer dolphins than the number of players, someone always comes up short. Each player with a dolphin is awarded a letter, and the player with four matching cards earns a bonus letter. Rounds repeat in this fashion until someone spells SPLASH and wins. Fake Outs (tricking another player into grabbing a dolphin BEFORE someone has 4 of a kind) are another great way to earn letters. Splash's edge-of-your-seat game play and excellent balance of skill and luck make it a fun game for the entire family, with entertaining facts about sea creatures on the cards adding a nice educational touch. Contents include 40 playing cards, 5 dolphins and 1 SPLASH scoring pad. For 3 to 6 players.
