Storytime Rhymes Sheep is a soft, cuddly companion that calms and entertains little ones with lullabies, nursery rhymes and a host of fun songs, sounds and phrases. There are two play modes from which to choose, Soothing Mode, which can go a long way towards helping baby along a short trajectory towards sleep, and Playtime Mode (more lively and upbeat). Starting, stopping and changing tunes and sounds is as simple as pressing different areas on an embroidered patch on the sheep's tummy, which also has a star in its center that lights up to the rhythm of the music. Popular children's songs and nursery rhymes (Old MacDonald, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Rock-a-bye Baby, and more) are mingled with melodies and sound effects that differ according to the mode. A timer allows the sheep to power off after 15 or 30 minutes. In addition to the stimulating and calming electronic features, the sheep's cheerful face, soft textures, and brightly patterned limbs and ears make for a visual and tactile playland.
