Trick Shot Sports strongly appeals to kids on two distinct levels: as a tabletop action toy and as a series of playfully designed collectible sports figures. Each colorful sports figure exudes loads of personality while serving as the mechanism with which kids send balls hurling towards the target. Just position the ball, then pull and release the tab on the sports figure's back to unleash the shot. The spring action sends the hollow, ping pong-sized ball rolling, flying, bouncing or ricocheting towards the netted target that comes with the set. With a little practice and an occasional bit of luck, some eye-popping shots start to occur. There are currently five Trick Shot Sports sets available - T.D (football), Slugger (baseball), Skates (hockey), Chip (soccer) and Dunkin (basketball), each of which includes one sports figure, one ball and a target with stand.
